Mysore palace gets bomb hoax call

MYSORE: An anonymous call stating that a bomb has been planted inside the famous Mysore Palace turned out to be hoax, police said on Sunday.

Police rushed a team of explosives experts and sniffer dogs after they received the call only to discover that it was a hoax call.

In the wake of the July 25 serial bomb blasts that rocked parts of Bangalore, security has been strengthened in Mysore including the Palace.
