My successor will be decided via internal poll, says West Bengal BJP Chief Ghosh

Amid speculation about BJP national president JP Nadda seeking probable names for the next party chief in Bengal, state BJP president Dilip Ghosh said the selection procedure for his successor would be done following the party's constitutional norms and through internal election.

"The central leadership will decide on the matter and it will be done following the party's constitutional procedures. I have been selected through an internal election procedure and the same will be applied for new party chief as well," Ghosh told ET, adding that a year and half of his tenure was still left.
