A SIT constituted by the UP government has identified 17 more people accused in the killing of two youths in Mujhera village.

MUZAFFARNAGAR: A Special Investigation Team constituted by the Uttar Pradesh government has identified 17 more people accused in the killing of two youths in Mujhera village.

The SIT identified them yesterday and sent a list to the local police for their arrest.

According to SIT sources, two persons Yogender and Virender were allegedly killed in an attack when they were returning on a tractor from Nagal Mador panchayat to their village Mujhera under Miranpur police station in the district on September 7, 2013.

Earlier, a case was registered against 34 people and nine persons were arrested, police said, adding, a manhunt has been launched to nab the absconding accused.
