Muzaffarnagar riots: Gang rape victims deposes before court

MUZAFFARNAGAR: Two out of six clash victims, who were allegedly gangraped in separate incidents by rioters, deposed before a local court and recorded their statements.

Earlier, the six gangrape victims, in their written complaints, had alleged that they were gangraped by the rioters in Fugana village. These two women separately recorded their statements under Section 164 of CrPC, sources at Special Investigation Team said.

These women have alleged that they were gangraped by the rioters who later burnt their houses at Fugana village in the district, they said.

Four remaining gangrape victims would be produced in the court later, they added.
