Muzaffarnagar riots: BJP leader Sadhvi Prachi gets bail
More than 60 persons were killed in communal violence that had broken out in Muzaffarnagar and adjoining areas in September this year.
Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Sunder Lal gave bail to Prachi on two sureties of Rs 2,000 each.
She had surrendered before the court yesterday. Police had registered a case against 40 people, including Prachi for violation of prohibitory orders and inciting communal violence by speeches in meetings at Nagala Madore area of Muzaffarnagar.
Prachi had contested the 2012 Assembly polls on BJP ticket.
