Muzaffarnagar Chief Medical Officer V K Johari transferred

UP govt today shifted CMO of Muzaffarnagar for his alleged negligence in providing proper treatment to the violence-hit people.

MUZAFFARNAGAR: The Uttar Pradesh government today shifted Chief Medical Officer of Muzaffarnagar District Hospital V K Johari for his alleged negligence in providing proper treatment to the violence-hit people living in camps.

According to official sources, the action was taken following report from the district authority.

Johari has been attached to the Health Directorate in Lucknow and his deputy S K Tyagi will be acting as CMO of the Hospital, officials said.

Meanwhile, the district authorities have asked the state administration to send additional teams of doctors for treating thousands of violence-hit people taking shelter in camps.
