NEW DELHI: Several Muslim organisations today held a protest here against the Israeli strikes in Gaza as well as the actions of the jihadist group ISIS in Iraq.

"We demand that the Indian government change its foreign policy. We want the new government to fight for the rights of Palestinians and boycott relations with Israel," said Maulana Jalal Haider Naqvi, General Secretary of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind.

Nusrat Ali, Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, said that their protest was "not only for Muslims killed in Gaza but also against the cruel forces which are oppressing and using the oil-producing Arab countries".
