Musical night at Anna Hazare's protest site

NEW DELHI: Veteran Gandhian Anna Hazare, who is observing a fast-unto-death here demanding a tough anti- corruption law, was today treated to a musical night.

A music band rendered revolutionary and patriotic songs at the protest site at Jantar Mantar, where hundreds of people have gathered to support the cause of the 71-year-old social activist.

Hazare was seen clapping to the tunes as the large number of television cameras present there showed the event live.

Poems were also recited at the site while small cultural performances were held at several places nearby by enthusiastic supporters.
