Murder of BJP Tamil Nadu secretary: BJP leaders to submit report by July 28
BJP leaders team appointed by Rajnath Singh to inquire into the brutal murder of Tamil Nadu general secretary V Ramesh.

The team led by BJP MP and spokesperson Prakash Javadekar and Nirmala Sitharaman, spokesperson, and Ananth Kumer Hegde, MP, as members, left for Tamil Nadu. They will visit Coimbatore today, followed by visits to Salem, Vellore and Chennai.
"We will inquire into the killings of BJP and RSS workers and violence against them in Tamil Nadu in the last few months. We will submit a report by July 28 to the party president," Javadekar told PTI before leaving for Coimbatore.
V Ramesh was brutally murdered near his house in Salem on July 19.
Some BJP and RSS leaders have been attacked and killed in the state in the past few months. Political opponents are said to be behind these murders.
A pipe bomb had been planted to attack L K Advani in 2011 when his Jan Chetna Yatra was passing through Tamil Nadu.
