Munda finalised as Jharkhand CM

The JMM and the BJP on Tuesday finalised the deal on government formation in Jharkhand. Under the agreement, BJP and JMM will share power on rotational basis for the remaining term of Jharkhand Assembly.

The BJP will head the government and occupy the chief minister's post for the first 28 months. Each party will lead the government for a period of 28 months, beginning with the BJP.

Shibu Soren will step down as Jharkhand chief minister on May 25 and BJP's Arjun Munda will take over as chief minister of the state.
