Mumbai: Cash for kidney scam exposed,hospital asks for bribe
A telephonic conversation revealed the corruption in kidney transplant system in Mumbai's hospital. A complainant named, Zakir Hussain wrote letters to the Chief Minister and the state's health minister demanding Central Bureau Investigation's intervention in the corruption case. A transplant co-ordinator demanded Rs 1.5 lakh for getting a file cleared for the transplant from the complainant.
