NEW DELHI: US ambassador to India David Mulford and other US security officials on Monday held talks with Union home minister P Chidambaram and national security advisor MK Narayanan to discuss the mechanism for sharing of intelligence.

The US had promised to help India in information sharing, collaboration and cooperation. The commander of the US Pacific Command Admiral Timothy Keating had recently said that the US was working through the initial parts of a package.

It be recalled that the United States has only provided physical details of movement of the boats Kuber and Al Husseni that were used by the Pakistani terrorists to reach Mumbai.

Officers from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have already questioned Mohammad Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone surviving Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist involved in the November 26 strikes, to ascertain his role and those of his handlers in Pakistan.
