Mulford condoles with victims' families

US envoy David Mulford offered condolences to the families of the victims of Mumbai terror attacks.

NEW DELHI: US envoy David Mulford on Thursday offered condolences to the families of the victims of Mumbai terror attacks and said Washington was ready to provide all possible assistance to the Indian government.

"The United States is shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life caused by the vicious acts of terrorism. I extend sincere condolences to the families of the victims," he said in a statement.

Mulford said the US government has offered extensive assistance to New Delhi to deal with the ongoing crisis.
