LUCKNOW: Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav will kick off his party's campaign for next year's assembly polls from his parliamentary constituency Azamgarh on September 7, a day after Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to start his month-long 'Deoria to Delhi yatra'.

"Netaji will be adressing a massive rally in his constituency on September 7," party spokesman Rajendra Chowdhury said here today.

Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to start his month-long 'Deoria to Delhi yatra' on September 6 during which he will also hold 'Khaat Sabhas' to have one-to-one interaction with farmers.

Gandhi's month-long yatra will cover 39 districts and 55 parliamentary constituencies.

BSP supremo Mayawati has already started holding rallies, while BJP leaders are also focusing on UP ahead of 2017 assembly polls.
