When asked how many "outsiders" was he referring to, Akhikesh said: "Ek bhi ho sakta hai (It could be one)".
Akhilesh Yadav had, since a long time, been directly opposed to the idea of the return of Amar Singh in the party but always gave in to the pressure of party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
When the present crisis broke out in the Yadav family and the party, Akhilesh Yadav had revealed that the crisis was the conspiracy of an outsider, though he did not take names.
However, on Friday, Akhilesh Yadav went ahead by saying that, before attending the TV show, he had a meeting with Mulayam Singh Yadav and the two collectively decided to keep "outsiders" out of the party and government affairs.
In reply to a question on whether Shivpal Yadav may prevent Amar Singh from being shown the door, Akhikesh said Shivpal was his uncle and Mulayam Singh Yadav's brother and he would abide by the wishes of the party chief.
