MPs have complained about implementation of Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana: Ram Kripal Yadav
Yadav informed that the Ministry has received many suggestions regarding the convergence of various existing schemes mainly relating to basic services.

"...the Ministry has received a few complaints from honourable Members of Parliament about implementation of SAGY in the country. The complaints mainly relate to inaction by the implementing authorities, no separate fundings by the government etc," Minister of State for Rural Development Ram Kripal Yadav said in a written reply.
He also informed that the Ministry has received many suggestions regarding the convergence of various existing schemes mainly relating to basic services--health, water, electricity, roads, housing and education.
Under the SAGY scheme, MPS from all political parties adopt villages with an aim to transform them into model villages and take the responsibility of developing physical and institutional infrastructure in these areas.
The villages will be developed through the implementation of existing schemes and certain new initiatives which will be designed as per local context.
