MPA mulls legal action against President's Rule in Meghalaya

GUWAHATI: NCP led Meghalaya Progressive Alliance (MPA), where BJP and other local parties are partners, is contemplating legal action against a Union Cabinet decision to clamp President's Rule in Meghalaya.

The MPA was won the trust vote by a whisker on Tuesday. MPA leaders have spoken to BJP leader, L K Advani.

Led by former Speaker P A Sangma, the MPA leaders will move to New Delhi on Thursday.
