MP to get Best State Award for succesful conduct of LS polls

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today expressed happiness over the state receiving the Best State Award from the Election Commission of India for succesful conduct of Lok Sabha elections 2014.

"Happy to share MP is among three (3) states to receive award from EC of India for the best state to successfully conduct the 2014 LS (Lok Sabha) Elections," Chouhan said in a tweet.

Madhya Pradesh was among the three states selected for Best State Award for successful conduct of Lok Sabha elections-2014 by Election Commission of India.

The State's Chief Electoral Officer Jaideep Govind will receive the award on National Voters' Day at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on January 25, an official release said.
