MP Opposition leader Ajay Singh smells scam as govt disposes off 1100 files in 15 days

BHOPAL: Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly, Ajay Singh today demanded the resignation of the State Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Mining Minister Rajendra Shukla for the manner in which a massive number of files had been allegedly disposed off in a fortnight.

In a statement, the Leader of the Opposition said that the Supreme Court had stayed the allotment of mines and sent notice to the state government which indicated that a scam has taken place in the allotment of mines.

Ajay said that he had been raising this issue regularly but nothing had been done by the state government.

"By disposing off 1,100 files in just 15 days, the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh has become responsible for the biggest scam in Madhya Pradesh," he said.

Ajay said that after this, the Chief Minister and the Mining Minister have lost the right to remain in office even for a single minute.
