NEW DELHI: Rajya Sabha MP and noted lawyer K T S Tulsi today cycled his way to Parliament House to symbolically express his concern over the deteriorating air quality in the national capital and encourage usage of environment-friendly transportation system.

Tulsi cycled his way to Parliament House from his Moti Lal Nehru Marg residence in the posh Lutyens' Bungalow Zone.

"This is my little contribution for our children. Our grand children...now a days. I have seen on the TV screen making appeals, that I can't breathe in this atmosphere so what are we doing...we are robbing them of their future." Tulsi said.

He said that he has asked all his juniors to travel by metro, adding, "I will provide them bicycles."

There is Parliament, of course...I am going to persuade every one that I come across (about the use of bicycle)."

Tusli said that he is fond of cycling and there is need to encourage others as well on its use.
