Move beyond reactive narratives, Nitish tells opposition
The JD(U) president, who asked the opposition to move beyond "reactive narratives", also dispelled fears about fissures in Bihar's Grand Alliance.

Just talks about unity among opposition parties won’t work in the current situation. He reiterated that the Congress being the largest party should take the initiative for setting up alternative agenda.
“It won’t be much effective if we talk only about the face and unity,” Kumar told reporters at a news conference in Patnaon Monday. Although he maintained it was the duty of the opposition to react on different issues, a mere “reactive narrative” will not help in countering the government, he said.
Kumar’s statement came a day after he allegedly blamed his coalition partner, Congress, for the current ‘mess’ the in Opposition.
Kumar virtually projected Bihar’s grand alliance as a model for opposition unity. “Bihar’s grand alliance was formed after we did groundwork. We had a definite agenda on the future. There was solid unity. The alliance was formed with a clear frame of mind,” he added.
