More Armymen under scanner

The army is looking at some more of its officers for their possible links with Malegaon blasts accused Srikant Prasad Purohit as well as Abhinav Bharat, reports Our Political Bureau from New Delhi.

All the officers, whose ranks range from Major to Colonel, have worked for military intelligence and were Purohit's colleagues at some time or the other.

According to ATS sources, Purohit had revealed during his interrogation that some of his colleagues were aware of his radical views as well as his affiliations with Abhinav Bharat. Not only this, they also seemed to share his political views favouring ���Hindu backlash��� against ���jihadi attacks��� .

Meanwhile, ATS sources confirmed that Appollo Hospital endocrinologist R P Singh was still very much under the scanner. Also, an industrialist from Pune, Mr Jindal , is being examined for funding Abhinav Bharat.
