Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Morbi today where over 130 people were killed, including 56 children, and 76 adults, after a suspension bridge collapsed into the Machchhu river. Modi will visit the Morbi accident site and meet the survivors of the bridge collapse tragedy.
Six of those injured in the collapse are undergoing treatment at the hospital. As per reports, portions of the entry gate have been painted in yellow, while some areas inside the hospital have got a coat of white paint.
Launching a tirade against the BJP, the Congress tweeted images that showed repair work going on inside the Morbi hospital. Terming it a "tragedy event", the Congress said the renovation work is being conducted for the event management of the Prime Minister's visit.
"Tomorrow, Prime Minister Modi will visit the civil hospital in Morbi. Ahead of that, painting is on, shiny tiles are being laid. All arrangements are being made to ensure that there is nothing amiss in the Prime Minister's pictures. They have no shame, so many people have died, and they are busy in event management," Congress tweeted in Hindi.
