He blamed West Bengal chief minister for allegedly being responsible for his ‘action in the form of abetment’, reveals a purported note signed by Dutt, said sources in police. He apparently had sent the note to some select media houses. The note was being circulated through whats app and other social networking forums.
Even though, he did not name the chief minister in the letter, he wrote that the CM ‘refused to close my two pending proceeding cases, one case file is lost deliberately by the WB government and in second case, no corruption charge could be substantiated.’
In the letter, he further wrote, “due to the above reasons, I have been singled out for bias and prejudice by the bureaucracy and police hierarchy in my daily functions. I was refused leave, was not sent on deputation, nor was I sent on any police course, training, now allowed to renew my passport.” He also alleged in purported note that his post-retirement dues were blocked by the government
ET tried to reach Virendra, DGP and Gyanwant Singh, commissioner of Bidhannagar (Salt Lake) police for comments on the purported note, however the calls and text messages remained unanswered.
