Mongolia citizens are luckier than drought hit farmers in Maharashtra, says Shiv Sena in Saamna
Shiv Sena questioned the motive of the PM Modi and asked why can't he show the same eagerness to help the distressed farmers of the state.

The Saamna edit slammed Modi saying, “Mongolia's citizens are luckier than those in Maharashtra, they have been given $ 1 billion from India's Prime Minister showing India's financial clout. If the PM had given the same treatment to the farmers in Maharashtra or to the residents of Konkan who are suffering due to the Jaitapur nuclear project then it would be better.”
The Saamna edit further said, “ 1 billion dollars is not a small amount, if you convert this amount in Indian rupees then the figure would tie up in knots the souls of thousands of farmers who have committed suicide in the state.” Adding that while farmers in the state were waiting for aid from the centre it is Mongolia's citizens who are getting aid.
The edit further says that while it is important for India to project its power and help its neighbours the Prime Minister should also look in to the ‘plight' of its farmers. “With folded hands we pray to the PM and the Agriculture Minister to solve the farmers suicide and solving the pending aid to be given to the farmers.”says the editorial.
Wednesday's Saamna editorial is the latest in a long series of attacks that the Sena has been carrying out against the BJP government in the Centre and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. For instance it criticized Modi for his bonhomie with the Chinese, saying that the latter cannot be trusted as they have pursued a ‘policy of hugging from the front and stabbing from the back'.
