Modi wave fading: Prakash Ambedkar
"The wave is fast disappearing and the saffron parties, particularly the BJP, may not get the desired results," Ambedkar said, talking to reporters.

"The wave is fast disappearing and the saffron parties, particularly the BJP, may not get the desired results," Ambedkar said, talking to reporters.
He was even sceptical about prospects of pre-poll alliance between Shiv Sena and BJP, claiming that the Sena president Uddhav Thakceray was not receiving proper "response" from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Modi invited Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to his swearing-in (while Sena has a hostile attitude to that country), Ambedkar recalled, adding that even during the Prime Minister's visit to Mumbai, he ignored Thackeray.
"There is virtually no interaction between the two," Ambedkar claimed.
To a question, he said BJP had no leader to project as the Chief Ministerial candidate, while the ruling Congress-NCP alliance looked shaky.
