Modi wants Gujarat to be secure laboratory for industrialists - CPI (ML-Liberation)
He said that in 1977, the people voted against emergency and in 2004 the voters threw out the BJP-led NDA following the Gujarat riots.
"Narendra Modi is making Gujarat a secure laboratory for MNCs and the corporate sector which are heading towards the state," party's National General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya told reporters here.
Claiming that the Gujarat model was anti-labour and anti-poor, he said "Everyone knows about the false encounters and that there is no justice in Gujarat, yet the corporate sector wants the Gujarat Model and seeing Modi as the prime ministerial candidate."
Alleging that Modi allegedly failed to protect the people during the 2002 riots, he said this should be a warning to the people.
He said that political parties should allow people to to choose their government without any debate over PM candidates.
