Ehsan, a former Congress MP, was burnt alive during the communal riots in Ahmedabad in February 2002. The SIT is headed by former CBI Director RK Raghavan.
The Supreme Court also said that it wants to further probe into former Gujarat minister G Zadaphia and a top cop M K Tandon and two other police officers.
However, the Supreme Court said that they have full faith in SIT. The Court also informed that interrogation report will not be given to Nanawati Commission.
