Modi moment: Seeks Ramvilas Paswan in the frame
NEW DELHI: Overwhelmed with emotion he may have been. But that didn't make Narendra Modi lose sight of micro details during the brief interval between the meetings of BJP Parliamentary Party and NDA in Parliament's Central Hall on Tuesday.
After Modi finished his speech, BJP leader Ananth Kumar walked to the table where the PM-elect sat with party president Rajnath Singh and veteran leader L K Advani to inform them of the next agenda.

As Kumar leaned towards Modi and Singh, the PM-elect quipped: "So, what have you decided? Who is sitting next to me. It should be LJP?" As the microphone was on, the PM-elect's affinity for LJP leader Ramvilas Paswan carried over the air.

Paswan, however, missed the chair as he came in late. As Parliament's watch and ward staff were arranging chairs for NDA leaders, Punjab chief minister and Shiromani Akali Dal supremo Parkash Singh Badal walked in and sat next to Modi. Udhav Thackeray was next.
