NEW DELHI: According to the Social Media Buzz analysis report by Simplify 360 degree, for the month of January, BJP dominated the buzz. According to the report, backlash of the dharna led by AAP with the hash-tag #AAPDrama and Rahul Gandhi's first television interview were most talked about.

Delhi continued to top the states talking about politics and elections followed by Maharashtra and Karnataka. Here are the key findings of the report:

1) 25% increase in social media buzz on election and politics in January compared to December last year.

2) BJP wins big on social media; Congress catching up, AAP losing.

3) Backlash of dharna led by AAP with the hash-tag #AAPDrama and Rahul Gandhi's interview were most talked

4) Narendra Modi back to No. 1 spot as the topmost talked about politican. Arvind Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi following closely.
