Moderate quake in Kashmir Valley, no damage reported
Kashmir Valley was rocked by a moderate intensity earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale three days back on June 30.

"A moderate intensity earthquake was recorded at 12.48 pm today," a spokesman of the MeT department here said.
He said the epicentre of the tremor was somewhere near the border with Pakistan.
"The quake had a depth of 10 km and struck at a Latitude of 34.4 degrees north and at a Longitude of 73.8 degrees east," he said.
Police officials said there were no reports of any damage caused due to the tremor.
