Mob attacks NTPC guest house after death of student
So far around 36 people have been arrested on rioting charges and senior officials belonging to the district administration are camping on the spot.

Rohtas Superintendent of Police (SP) Chandan Kumar Kushwaha said the incident happened when the bus belonging to NTPC hit two students going to school on a bicycle this morning. Rajnish Kumar (9) died on the spot, while his elder brother Krishna Kumar (12) was seriously injured.
"The angry locals started rioting and set ablaze two buses belonging to NTPC. They then moved towards the guest house and set ablaze eight cars and SUVs, damaged a generator and other goods," Kushwaha said.
The crowd also attacked the police, when it tried to check them. Over two dozen police personnel were injured in heavy brick-batting. The personnel then used tear gas and lathicharged the rampaging people. The mob also tried to attack the family of an NTPC official residing at the guest house, but the policemen foiled the attempt.
So far around 36 people have been arrested on rioting charges and senior officials belonging to the district administration are camping on the spot.
The body of the boy has been recovered from the mob and sent for postmortem. The SP said the police force will remain deployed on the spot till the situation becomes entirely normal.
