MNS chief Raj Thackeray ticks off his party workers over protest against Ajit Pawar

MUMBAI: MNS chief Raj Thackeray today rapped his own party workers over the manner in which Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar's controversial remarks on drought and load-shedding were protested.

At some places, MNS workers pasted Ajit Pawar's photos on public urinals.

Thackeray condemned this. "Reprehensible and malicious incidents took place during the demonstrations. Opposition and criticism are a part of politics, but workers should not cross a boundary," he said in a statement here.

He also said that inquiry would be conducted and guilty party workers would face action.
