MNS against loudspeakers of all mosques: Raj Thackeray
The MNS chief said that there were around 1035 mosques in the state and many of them in the city that have blared Azaan before 5am today on Mosques.

“Police officials have told me that they have given permission for the loudspeakers to be put up for mosques after getting applications. However this is a violation of the Supreme Court rules, as you cannot give blanket permission for the loudspeakers to be put on for 365 days. If you are putting up restrictions on us (Hindus) and asking us to get permissions then they too should be applying for permissions every day.said Raj Thackeray while addressing a Press conference.
The MNS chief said that there were around 1035 mosques in the state and many of them in the city that have blared Azaan before 5am today on Mosques. “I want to ask the Mumbai police Commissioner, what action are you going to take against them…We will continue to keep playing Hanuman Chalisa outside mosques if they don’t bring down loudspeakers. This is not a one day thing; we will keep on doing it.”said Raj.
He claimed that the State government was doing contempt of court by not adhering to the rules set by it on the use of loudspeakers and decibel levels. “ I want to see what the Supreme Court is doing if the government is not following its order.”said Raj.
