MK Stalin meets Kanimozhi in trial court

Senior DMK leader M K Stalin today met his sister Kanimozhi, arrested in the 2G spectrum case, at a trial court here and spent nearly 40 minutes with her.

NEW DELHI: Senior DMK leader M K Stalin today met his sister Kanimozhi, arrested in the 2G spectrum case, at a trial court here and spent nearly 40 minutes with her.

Stalin, accompanied by DMK parliamentary party leader T R Baalu and other senior leaders came to the Patiala House court complex at 10 am and waited for half-an-hour for Kanimozhi to come to the court room.

Stalin chatted with Kanimozhi and former Telecom Minister A Raja for over 40 minutes and asked them about the facilities in the Tihar Jail where they are lodged.

Kanimozhi and Raja enquired about the health of M Karunanidhi from Stalin. Seated between Kanimozhi and Raja, Stalin asked them how they were coping with the condition in the jail. Kanimozhi also asked Stalin about the well-being of her family members in Chennai.

Karunanidhi had met his daughter at the Tihar Jail yesterday and spent nearly an hour with her.
