Mizoram unaware of LBA impact on territory
AIZAWL: The Mizoram government is uninformed about the impact on its territory by the Land Boundary Agreement (LBA) between the governments of India and Bangladesh, state Home Minister R Lalzirliana told the Assembly today.

In a written reply to a query from opposition Mizo National Front (MNF) member Lalrinawma, the Home Minister said that the LBA was in the hands of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Ministry was yet to furnish any information about the matter to the state government, he said.

Mizoram shares 318-km long border with Bangladesh.
