‘Misleading’, not ‘misrepresenting’: Certain innocuous words can be unparliamentary and lawmakers must be particular in not using them as these will be expunged. Countering remarks made by Congress chief whip Jairam Ramesh in the Rajya Sabha, minister Pralhad Joshi alleged he was "misrepresenting" facts which led Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar to say that the word cannot be used. Joshi then said Ramesh is "misleading" the House. There is a list of words that have been declared unparliamentary. These are mentioned in the rule book.

Mamata walks, jogs to Hyde Park: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, a fitness enthusiast, was seen jogging in her signature white slippers in London’s Hyde Park. Banerjee took the team accompanying her — chief secretary Manoj Pant, personal security staff and some businessmen — for a 5 km walking and jogging session and reached tourist hotspots Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. Banerjee is on a visit to the United Kingdom where she will deliver a speech at Oxford University and hold some business meetings to attract investment.

Better late than never: With the speculation of a Cabinet reshuffle doing the rounds for quite some time in Gujarat, the grapevine has it that a rejig may happen soon to accommodate Congress turncoats like Arjun Modvadia and CJ Chavda. If sources are to be believed, this may happen around April 8 when Congress will hold its AICC meeting in Ahmedabad, thus taking away some limelight from the same.
