Minority community holds protest against morphed PK poster

JAIPUR: Members of a minority community today blocked the Delhi highway and pelted stones on policemen in protest against a morphed poster of the Aamir Khan-starrer 'PK' shared on a WhatsApp chat here.

The poster of film PK was morphed and mixed with some other pictures, and was sent to a member of the community on WhatsApp, prompting the community to block the Delhi road near Idgaah, DCP North Prafulla Kumar said.

The agitators were pacified and the highway was cleared after assurance of the arrest of the accused, Kumar added.

Another police officer said four policemen received mild injuries when someone from the mob pelted stones at the police.

However, the situation was brought under control soon, he said, adding, "Efforts are on to nab the accused."
