Mining scam: CBI files charges against Gali Janardhan Reddy

HYDERABAD: The CBI on Saturday filed the charge sheet in a special court here in the alleged illegal iron ore mining case involving the iron ore baron and former minister in the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Karnataka, Gali Janardhan Reddy.

The agency has in its charge sheet named Gali Janardhan Reddy, his brother-in-law and managing director of Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) BV Srinivas Reddy and the former managing director of Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation (APMDC) VD Rajagopal.
