"An IED exploded near the Line of Control at 10:25 AM near Gambhir area. However, no one was hurt in the blast", Defence spokesman Lt Col Manish Mehta said.

JAMMU: Militants today triggered an IED blast near the LoC in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

No one was hurt in the blast. "An IED exploded near the Line of Control at 10:25 AM near Gambhir area. However, no one was hurt in the blast", Defence spokesman Lt Col Manish Mehta said.

He said the security forces immediately cordoned off the area, "to carry out a detailed search of the area. Security forces have cordoned off the area".

On Saturday last, militants had carried out a similar attack by detonating an IED in Krishnagati belt of Poonch district.
