Milind Deora joins Shinde-led Sena

Congress leader Milind Deora on Sunday quit the party and joined the Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) while accussing the Congress of ignoring "merit." He also accused the Congress of targeting industrialists and businessmen.

Deora resigned on Sunday morning and after a few hours was welcomed by Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde at 'Varsha' - CM's official residence, along with his followers. "I never thought I would leave the Congress...I have decided to join Shiv Sena to strengthen the hands of CM Eknath Shinde and that of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who have a big vision for the country," said Deora.
