NEW DELHI: The minimum temperature fell below the 10 degrees Celsius-mark for the first time this season even as the nights begin to get chilly in Delhi as the city begins to feel winter in the air.

According to the MeT department, the minimum was today recorded at 9 degrees, which was four notches below normal. The maximum temperature was recorded at 27.4 degrees, one notch below the normal. Humidity in air oscillated between 24 and 80 per cent during the day.

The weatherman has predicted partially cloudy skies from afternoon onwards tomorrow.

"There may be mainly clear sky becoming partly cloudy sky from afternoon onwards tomorrow and mist/shallow fog in the morning," he added. The minimum and maximum are expected to settle at around 10 degrees and 28 degrees, respectively.
