Mercury continues to rise in Rajasthan
JAIPUR: Mercury continued to rise in parts of Rajasthan with Churu district in north recording the lowest temperature of 8.3 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said today.

In Sriganganagar, the night temperature was recorded at 8.6 degrees Celsius, an official said.

The minimum temperature recorded in the state capital Jaipur was 11.8 degrees, while Pilani, Dabok and Barmer recorded a minimum of 8.7, 11.2 and 12 degrees Celsius respectively.

The weather department has predicted further rise in temperatures across parts of the state during next 24 hours.
