Meet the rich men of BBMP with a combined wealth of 1228 crore

The combined wealth of 198 newly-elected members of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike council is Rs 1,228.6 crore. This is more than what the Chief Minister announced for the city's development under the Nagarothana scheme (Rs 1000 crore) in the state budget, and over a fourth of the BBMP's outlay for the current financial year (Rs 5,411 crore).
