MDMK chief Vaiko to leave for Malaysia
CHENNAI: NDA ally, MDMK chief Vaiko today embarks on a week's tour of Malaysia and will participate in a string of events there including a Tamil conference.

The MDMK chief, known for his strident views on Tamil issues will inaugurate a Tamil conference being organised by Malaysia's Penang province Deputy Chief Minister P Ramasamy, a party release said here today.

Vaiko will also address a string of public meetings and events in Malaysia, the release added.

The MDMK chief is among the popular leaders of Tamil Nadu among Tamil diaspora in Malaysia, Singapore, Europe and USA. He will be back in Chennai on November 12.
