MDLR postpones Delhi-Dharamsala, Delhi-Kullu flight

The MDLR private air services postponed its maiden flight scheduled for today in the Delhi-Dharamsala and Delhi-Kullu route following bursting of aircraft's tyres during route checking at Kullu airport.

DHARAMSALA: The MDLR private air services postponed its maiden flight scheduled for today in the Delhi-Dharamsala and Delhi-Kullu route following bursting of aircraft's tyres during route checking at Kullu airport.

The inaugural ceremony of the airlines from Delhi to Dharamsala was fixed for today which has been postponed for Wednesday, MDLR spokesman Akash Batra said.

The company's inaugural flight from Delhi to Kullu fixed for tomorrow has also been postponed for April 30 in the wake of incident.

About ten members of Directorate General of Civil Aviation and crew members of the MDLR flight had a miraculous escape yesterday when four tyres of the plane bursted while landing at Kullu airport, sources in the airline said.
