MCD acts against 40 illegal constructions in the capital

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi today continued its drive against illegal constructions, taking action against 40 properties in the capital.

NEW DELHI: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi today continued its drive against illegal constructions, taking action against 40 properties in the capital.

While 39 properties in Najafgarh, South, Rohini and Civil Lines Zones were demolished or sealed, encroachments were also removed from the public land in Sector-11 of Rohini.

In Najafgarh Zone's Mahipalpur, Sagaprpur and Mahavir Enclave, nine properties were sealed and six properties demolished while 16 properties were targeted in South Zone's Khanpur, Khirki, Vasant Vihar and Lado Sarai.

Five properties were demolished in Rohini Zone's Keshavpuram and Rohini Sector-11 while two properties were targeted in Civil Lines Zone's Burari and Gulabi Bagh.
