Mayawati trading party tickets for money, alleges Jugal Kishore
LAKHIMPUR: BSP's former zonal coordinator Jugal Kishore today accused party supremo Mayawati of selling party tickets for Assembly and Parliamentary seats in return for money.

"I was sidelined only when I objected this practice to the BSP supremo and urged her to put a full stop on it," Kishore told PTI.

Kishore, who was removed from the top party post of zonal coordinator yesterday, demanded a CBI inquiry into his allegations and said many of the legislatures would expose the seat-trading if a fair probe was conducted.

"Even I was asked to pay Rs 50 lakh for the party ticket for my son Saurabh Singh from Kasta Assembly seat.

"I raised a voice and was silenced immediately by being sidelined in the party, which I founded in 1984 along with Dalit messiah late Kanshi Ram," he alleged.

Terming BSP supremo Mayawati as the wealthiest leader in the country, Kishore alleged that for the past few months the Dalit mission has been put on the back burner and the focus was on "money mission".

He alleged there are large-scale irregularities in setting up of Bahujan Prerna Kendras in Lucknow, Noida and Delhi.

Kishore claimed that these 'kendras' were set up with the hard-earned money of poor Dalits but they were converted into trusts in which trustees were none other than Mayawati, her brother Anand and Satish Chandra Mishra.

"If the Dalits come to know of the reality behind the Prerna Kendra, they would retaliate," he added.

Immediate reaction from BSP on the issue was not available.
