Mayawati takes oath as LC member

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati on Tuesday took oath as a member of the state legislative council.
Her cabinet colleague and leader of the council Swami Prasad Maurya was also administered oath as member of the house.
Council Chairman Sukhram Singh Yadav administered the oath to both the leaders, Mayawati and Maurya were recently elected unopposed as members of the upper house.
