The DAVP, a wing of the I&B Ministry, has set up 30 exhibitions in 30 states/UT capitals including in Delhi and Andamans, in the first phase ending June 2.

In the second phase from June 8, DAVP will be setting up 30 more exhibitions across 21 states, where stalls of banks and insurance companies like LIC have also been put up to help people avail benefits of social security schemes.

Besides, static exhibitions at large cities and towns like Patna, Ranchi and Jaipur have also attracted more than 5,000 footfalls every day.

The vans have evoked more curiousity in rural areas and banks, LIC and post office stalls for Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana have brought in large crowds, said a Ministry official.
